Intro – Normal(ish) Adult by Day, Kdrama Slave by Night

Growing up, the best thing about Thursday nights was going to the Korean grocery store to pick up the latest Kdrama rentals on VHS with my mom and my brother. Kdramas were a large part of my weekend growing up and I stopped watching them in 2000 (mostly because I went away for school). Fast forward to March 2020. The pandemic hits. The whole world shut down, except our internet access. My cousin was stranded at our house due to travel restrictions, we were looking through Netflix for something to watch and the Itaewon Class preview kept popping up, so we did our duty as good second gen Korean kids. We watched the entire series in 3 days (while both of us worked full time). Then the flood gates opened and I have not stopped since. I started subscribing to Viki and I have watched over 180 Kdramas in the span of 18 months and I have no plans to slow down! I’m always looking for people to discuss Kdramas with and decided to start this blog instead. I want to hear all of your opinions so please leave comments! Sarang hae yo!
