This show was so amazing and was unfortunately overshadowed by Extraordinary Attourney Woo, Alchemy of Souls, and Money Heist all released on Netflix around the same time. This show is comedic genius and should be enjoyed by the masses.

This hilarious work of art is about a fortune teller or shaman (I’m not 100% sure how to translate “moo-dang”, shaman sounds too holy and fortune teller sounds too goofy), Nam Han Joon (Seo In Gook) who has a reputation of being accurate and is the most sought after fortune teller in Korea. We soon find out that he is actually a con artist and he relies on his best friend Su Cheol (Kwak Si Yang) and his extremely skilled hacker sister, Hye Joon (Kang Mi Na) to get the information he needs to gain his client’s trust. Han Joon was a former criminal profiler who became a fake fortune teller to make money. His profiler skills and his sister’s hacking skills has made their business successful.
I’m trying to keep this post as spoiler free as possible so I will do my best.
Reasons why you should watch this show:
1. It’s hilarious
This show is comedic genius. Each of the characters have their unique quirks. When things get a little intense or serious, they throw in a well timed joke to keep things light despite the very serious subject.

If you’re a kdrama lover and watched all of them, you will love the parodies in this show. I don’t know how the actors kept a straight face while filming this.
2. Bad ass females
Han Jae Hee (Oh Yeon Seo) is a total baddie. She is a young and accomplished police captain. She beat out all of her sunbaes and became their boss. She is proficient in martial arts and can beat up any jerk that gets in your way. She’s nicknamed the ghost because the air around her gets cold when she walks in the room.
Let’s not forget about Nam Hye Joon (Kang Min Ah). The other bad ass hacker with NIS access to people’s information. She is the real brains behind Nam Han Joon’s operation. The show really needs to give her more credit.
3. Crazy twisted villains
There are several tiers of villains in this show. You have the little villains for each episode and they expand out into worse and worse villains. The biggest villain is a huge shocker and I will not spoil it for you. This show is still a comedy but definitely has a lot of darkness with it.
4. Sick ass action fight scenes
I don’t know about you but I love a good fight scene. This show definitely has many of those.

5. Incredible acting skills from the entire cast
I was super impressed with Seo In Guk. I felt like he always played the same character but I was pleasantly surprised with his versatility in a comedic role. He can really do it all.

Gong Soo Cheol (Kwak Si Yang) is Han Joon’s best friend and business partner and easily my favourite. Do you remember the Nam Il from Fight for My Way? Yup, that’s him. I couldn’t believe it myself. This guy’s acting in incredible. I need to see him in a lead role.
Please make time to watch this amazing show. If you need a comedy that makes you laugh out loud, this is your show.
