You can really see Esom’s duality in a super under rated kdrama, The Third Charm. I love watching shows where you see the characters grow up. She starts off as an immature high school graduate and eventually into a mother. You can feel her character’s joys and losses in the show. She killed that show and the show definitely deserves more credit. I love how she is able to look like she will kill you one second and then when she smiles she looks like a joyful innocent child.
Her first lead role in Scarlet Innocence was very risque for a first movie as a young woman in Korea but she took the role head on and did an amazing.
