This woman is absolutely beautiful and obviously, she started off as a model. There are actually a few kdrama actors that have the ability to transfer their skills from modeling into acting and she is one of them. My first Han So Hee Kdrama was World of The Married, and she was Yeo Da Kyung, aka the “other” younger woman. I imagine this role was not easy to take on. If you watched World of The Married, she helped destroy a family. Clearly she was the villain but Han So Hee was able to make me feel bad for her as the show progressed. She also won a bunch of awards for this role which she deserves! I won’t give any spoilers, you will just have to watch this show for yourself!
I also watched her in Nevertheless, 100 Days My Prince, and of course, My Name. All of the characters in them were all very different and her acting diverse ability is well noted in all of these shows.
For me, the main reason I love Han So Hee is she is does not shy away from the hot sex scene! I was tired of seeing kdramas pretend that pre-marital sex doesn’t exist in Korea. Mind you, this was mostly from cute romcoms that I frequently watch. She went full force and made it ok for young women take control of their sexuality through her role as Na Bi in Nevertheless and as Ji Woo in My Name.
This amazing actress can play a young vixen who steals a married man, an emotionally vulnerable art student in Nevertheless, to a vengeful ass whooping bad ass in My Name. You have to respect her commitment to the craft. She doesn’t just rely on her beauty to get her roles, she actually puts the work in. I can’t wait to see her develop as an actress.
I love absolutely love this girl and I hope to see her in more kdramas soon!
